my stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The location was one of the best we had in NZ, with a beautiful view of the lake and its mountains. The rooms were comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. The kitchen was especially nice, well equipped and spacious, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. I also appreciated the attention to detail, as our room even had an extra single bed in it when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise.

the room was comfy and clean, and the kitchen and lounge were awesome with games and foosball. the staff was friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of cereal and toast. It was also an easy walk to the town center, and the covered parking was a plus, especially during heavy rain. I definitely plan on staying here again!

Some dishes and glasses were not clean, and the free breakfast was a bit dull. there were some issues with noise at night due to the lights outside.

We stayed at this hostel which is located conveniently close to the intercity bus terminal, the shore of Lake Taupo, and the town center. the price is good and it's perfect if you want to be close to the beach. the showers are great, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful.

Poorly maintained facilities, such as almost no toilet paper and limited hooks in the shower. Uncomfortable mattresses, felt the wood underneath all night.

The free wifi was excellent and the hostel was one of the cleanest we've stayed in. The beds were comfy and there was ample space in the dorms. The kitchen was huge and there were 2 lounge spaces. The hostel also offered free parking and cheap laundry facilities. The location was great, very close to a well-known fast-food restaurant. We also enjoyed the balcony area and the use of the bbq.
